ONE PARKING WAS ONE OF THE THREE FINAL FIRMS FOR CONSIDERATION. ONE PARKING INCORPORATED, WAS ONE OF THE THREE FINAL FIRMS, AND THE COMMISSION CHOSE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THAT AND FOR CITY STAFF TO BEGIN CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THAT FIRM. THERE WAS DISCUSSIONS ABOUT HOW TO MOVE FORWARD AS FAR AS IMPLEMENTATION, WHAT THAT WOULD LOOK LIKE. WHO WOULD MAKE SOME OF THOSE HARD DECISIONS AS TO WHAT AN ANNUAL PERMIT WOULD COST? OR WHAT THE HOURLY RATE WOULD BE, AND IT WAS DECIDED THROUGH A CONSENSUS OF THE COMMISSION THAT IT WOULD OCCUR ON A NUMBER OF FRONTS, BOTH IN THE SUNSHINE, THROUGH A WORKSHOP WITH THE COMMISSION, WITH CITY STAFF, OBVIOUSLY, WORKING WITH THE VENDOR, BUT ALSO AN ADVISORY GROUP TO WORK AS A COMMITTEE TO WORK WITH THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE TO HELP MAKE SOME OF THESE DECISIONS AND PROVIDE SOME FEEDBACK.
