STREET LIGHTING NEEDS REPLACING, BEACH ACCESS, BOARDWALKS NEED REPAIRS AND REPLACING. SO, HERE'S A SOLUTION. HOLD WORKSHOPS AND SURVEYS TO DETERMINE THE PROJECT ITEM IS PRIORITY ON A CITY MANAGEMENT PRIORITY LIST. THE CITY MANAGER MADE REFERENCE TO A TAX INCREASE THAT WOULD PRODUCE ABOUT 2 MILLION A YEAR. BUT IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING TO HEAR THE STORIES ABOUT THESE FIREFIGHTERS AND PARAMEDICS AND THE THINGS THAT THEY DO EVERY DAY AND THE THINGS THAT THEY FACE EVERY DAY. SO, I JUST WANT TO REALLY GIVE THEM A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK. AND THEY DID TALK ABOUT WANTING TO MAYBE HAVE A BASKETBALL GAME AGAINST THE POLICE SOME TIME SOON.
