ADDITIONAL SEWER AND REFUSE EXEMPTION FOR FY 2014/2015 – RESOLUTION 2014–166 APPROVING ONE (1) ADDITIONAL APPLICATION FOR CITY SEWER AND REFUSE EXEMPTION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2014/2015; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Approves one (1) additional application for exemption of payment for City Sewer and Refuse costs for the months of December 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015.

FACILITIES USE AGREEMENT – DRIVING DYNAMICS, INC. – RESOLUTION 2014-167 APPROVING A FACILITIES USE AGREEMENT WITH DRIVING DYNAMICS, INC. TO USE AIRPORT PROPERTY TO CONDUCT CORPORATE DRIVER TRAINING ON FEBRUARY 17, 2015; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Approves a Facilities Use Agreement with Driving Dynamics, Inc. for corporate drivers training on February 17, 2015.

6.1.
SEISMIC AIR GUN TESTING

SEISMIC AIR GUN TESTING – RESOLUTION 2014-168 OPPOSING SEISMIC AIR-GUN TESTING IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Opposes seismic air-gun testing and urges President Obama’s Administration to stop this process and focus on ensuring the vitality of vulnerable local economies along the Atlantic Coast. Ms. Erin Handy of Oceana will provide a brief presentation regarding the effects of seismic air gun testing.

VEHICLE PURCHASES – POLICE DEPARTMENT

VEHICLE PURCHASES – POLICE DEPARTMENT - RESOLUTION 2014-169 APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE FLORIDA SHERIFF’S ASSOCIATION VEHICLE BID AWARD; PROVIDING FOR EXECUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Approves the purchase of four (4) vehicles for the Police Department through the Florida Sheriff’s Association Vehicle Bid Award #14-22-0904.

CHANGE ORDER APPROVAL – MARAND BUILDERS

CHANGE ORDER APPROVAL – MARAND BUILDERS – RESOLUTION 2014-170 AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH MARAND BUILDERS, INC. TO INCREASE THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY $4,512.34 TO COMPLETE THE RENOVATION AND REHABILITATION OF THE CITY BUILDING AT 25 N. 4TH ST.; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Approves Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Marand Builders, Inc. for an increase of $4,512.34 to complete the renovation and rehabilitation project at the City building at 25 N. 4th St.
