I PROPOSE THAT Y'ALL MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COMMISSION THAT THEY NEVER CLOSE BOAT TRAILER PARKING.

I WOULD THINK THAT THE MARINA SHOULD HAVE SOME CONCERN ON WHETHER THERE'S BOAT TRAILER PARKING AVAILABLE, AND WITH THE NEW WATERFRONT, THEY'RE PLANNING ON NEW EVENTS AND SQUEEZING THE PARKING.

THEY'VE ALREADY SQUEEZED THE PARKING.

THEY'VE CLOSED SOME OF THE PARKING, AND ALL FIVE OF THOSE COMMISSIONERS HAVE PLEDGED THAT THEY'RE GOING TO KEEP THAT BOAT RAMP OPEN.

BUT WHAT THEY'RE NOT TELLING PEOPLE, THEY'RE NOT TELLING TAXPAYERS, IS THAT IF THEY CLOSE THE BOAT TRAILER PARKING, THE BOAT RAMP IS CLOSED.

MAYOR BEAN WENT OUT TO THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND PUT THIS GREAT, WE PASSED THIS FUNDING FOR THIS PARK.

DIDN'T SAY NOTHING ABOUT CLOSING THE BOAT TRAILER PARKING.

I WOULD PROPOSE THAT ONE OF THESE BOARDS MAKE A PROPOSAL TO THE CITY COMMISSION THAT THAT BOAT TRAILER PARKING NEVER CLOSES, AND JOE, MAKE THEM VOTE.

IT'S BEEN SAID TWICE IN THE NEWSPAPER THAT I WAS IN FAVOR OF CLOSING THE BOAT RAMP. I WAS NOT.

I WAS IN FAVOR OF IT CONDITIONALLY, AND THAT CONDITION WAS TO MAKE THE [INAUDIBLE] A PROTECTED BOAT RAMP, WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO BECAUSE OF THE WAY IT'S DESIGNED.

IT WAS NEVER BROUGHT UP IN THE PAPER THAT IT WAS CONDITIONAL.

THE PAPER HAS SINCE THEN WRITTEN A RETRACTION INDICATING THAT IT WAS CONDITIONAL.

THEY ALSO PUT A RETRACTION THERE THAT I DIDN'T BRING IT UP.

MR. ROSS DID IN ALL THE EMAILS.

I NEVER INITIATED THAT DISCUSSION.

THAT'S ALSO IN THE PAPER, AND I WANT EVERYBODY IN THE CITY OF FERNANDINA THAT WATCHES THIS ON TV TO KNOW THAT.

A BIG PART OF THAT WITH THE TIERED RATES IS THE AMERICAN CRUISE LINES.

BOATS ARE ALL OVER 200 FEET, SO THEY'RE IN THE HIGHEST TIER, AND THEY'VE CONTRIBUTED ABOUT $33,000 YEAR OVER YEAR AND YEAR TO DATE TOWARDS OUR TRANSUNION DOCKAGE.

I RANSOM QUICK NUMBERS AND THE REVENUE JUST FROM AMERICAN CRUISE LINES IS UP ABOUT 51% OVER LAST YEARS.

AS I MENTIONED, THE DIESEL SALES HAVE BEEN VERY STRONG.

THEY ARE $72,000 OVER BUDGET AND $585,000 BETTER THAN LAST YEAR, YEAR TO DATE.

NOW, THIS IN PART IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE WERE DOWN IN 2022 DUE TO HURRICANE DAMAGE, SO WE REALLY DIDN'T SELL A LOT OF DIESEL.

THEN TO CONTROL COSTS, WE HAVE KEEPING PAYROLL IN LINE YEAR.
