NOVEMBER IS THE SECOND MONTH. THE GENERAL FUND YEAR TO DATE REVENUE IS 3% OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET.

OVER ALL THE GENERAL DATE THE EXPENSES ARE 11.9%.

SOME DEPARTMENTS ARE OVER THIS DUE TO ANNUAL SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS. FOR THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND, THIS HAS BEEN MADE AND THAT TECH CENTER AND THE NEW PAYROLL SYSTEM. THIS IS UP 16.9% VERSUS LAST YEAR. FOR THE REMAINING FUNDS, THE BALANCE WAS RECORDED IN OCTOBER. THE UTILITY FUNDS REVENUE EXCEED EXPENSES EXCEPT AS ANTICIPATED. THIS HAD A LARGE CAPITAL EXPENSE IN NOVEMBER FOR THE CONVERSION PROJECT.

WE HAVE HAD TWO STAKEHOLDER COMMITTEE MEETINGS SPIRIT WE INVOLVE THE ENTIRE COMMITTEE OF NASSAU COUNTY AND THIS AND WE CAP SEVERAL PEOPLE IN THE CITY WORKING ON THIS FOR QUITE A WHILE NOW. WE HAVE OUR SECOND DRAFT, WE HAVE ALMOST COMPLETED WHAT WE THINK IS A GOOD MASTER PLAN.

HOWEVER, AT THE LAST MEETING WORKSHOP THAT YOU HAD, I WAS

WATCHING ON TV A COMMISSIONER ROSS MENTIONED HE WOULD LIKE TO MEET WITH US, TO DISCUSS HOW THE MASTER PLAN WILL FIT THE COMP PLAN FOR THE CITY. WE DON'T WANT TO LEAVE ANY STONE UNTURNED. WE TALKED ABOUT IT AT OUR NEXT MEETING AND DECIDED TO DO THAT. WE REACHED OUT TO THE CITY CLERK AND SHE GAVE US SOME DATES FOR JANUARY AND THEY WERE ON A FRIDAY WE COULD NOT DO THAT. WHAT I HAVE DECIDED TO DO IS TO ASK YOU TO MEET WITH US, AT A WORKSHOP AND WE WILL MEET AT 5:00 P.M. AND HALF-AN-HOUR IF WE HAVE TO GO OVER IN OUR REGULAR MEETING WE WILL.

I'M YOUR GENERAL WORKS DIRECTOR AND BE FOR YOU IS A BID FOR GARBAGE AND RECYCLING CIRCULATION FOR THE COMMUNITY IT TAKES PLACE IN A FEW MONTHS. AND THEN WE WENT OUT FOR A BIT AGAIN IN 2018.

AS YOU KNOW, RELATIVELY RECENTLY, -- IT WAS REOPENED AND THIS IS THE CONTRACT WE HAVE DUE TO SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES THAT WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH. WE FOUND IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE THAT DISCUSSION NOW SO THE VENDOR COULD ORDER THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT TO BE READY WHEN IT EXPIRES.

IN THE SUMMER WE EXTENDED THE CONTRACT.

WE WANT TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER AN ATTORNEY TO NEGOTIATE A CONTRACT. THE GOAL WAS TO HAVE THIS APPROVED BY MARCH 7, AND THE VENDOR CAN DO WHAT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE CHANGES TO HIT THE GROUND ROLLING.

THIS IS SHOULDERED BY WASTE MANAGEMENT AND CITY STAFF.

THIS IS 1852 AMOUNT. ONCE A WEEK COLLECTION AND THAT TOTAL IS THIS IS FOR CUSTOMERS ALTOGETHER, WASTE MANAGEMENT PERFORMS 1 MILLION SERVICE STOPS PER YEAR END THAT IS QUITE A BIT. THEY PROVIDE BILLING FOR THOSE SERVICES AND WE DO THAT AND HOUSE.

IT SAID TO MONITOR THE BUILDING, CONTINUED TO CHECK IT, AND FROM THAT THE CITY ENGINEER AT THE TIME WE WERE WITHOUT A BUILDING OFFICIAL SAID THE BUILDING WAS UNSAFE AND WE SENT A NOTICE TO BOTH OURSELVES AND ANYONE WITH INTEREST, THAT YOU HAVE 60 DAYS TO VACATE THE BUILDING OR MAKE REPAIRS.

THE REPAIRS ARE ESTIMATED AT $779,000 WHICH THE OFFICIAL SAYS EXCEEDS THE THRESHOLD WHERE YOU CAN DO REPAIRS WITHOUT BRINGING THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE UP TO CODE. SO, THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR US TO DO THAT WITHOUT SPENDING MILLIONS.

WE HAVE TALKED TO THE GROUP AND SAID DOES IT MAKE ANY SENSE FOR THE CITY TO MAKE REPAIRS WITH THREE YEARS LEFT WHAT DOES IT COST TO BUY YOU OUT. THEY CLAIM THESE ARE TRADE SECRETS AND TAX RETURNS SHOWING A PROJECTION OVER THE NEXT THREE YEARS, THE PROFIT THEY WERE GOING TO INCREASE THEIR BUSINESS, AND THAT WAS A $1.6 MILLION NUMBER AND WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TALK THEM DOWN.
